Located inside the Tierra Magnifica Hotel

Huacas is an intimate dining experience- you’ll take a seat on the candlelit terrace overlooking the verdant jungle high up over Nosara – there is no better spot to savor the views.

Huacas is both about gastronomy and mixology and this Nosara restaurant probably has the best wine and cocktails menu in Nosara.

 

 

La Luna Nosara

This beautiful restaurant located in Playa Pelada is right on the beach where you can enjoy a candle-lit meal while also watching some of the best beachside sunsets in Costa Rica.

 

Pacifico Azul

Pacifico Azul is the place to go for the freshest seafood in Nosara. This small, family-run restaurant focuses on cooking up locally, community-sourced seafood to timeless family recipes crafted over generations.

 

 

Celajes Restaurante

Celajes is a locally owned restaurant located in Nosara town, right next to the airport. Here you’ll find a vibrant menu with many local classics- in fact, it’s one of the best places in Nosara for casado– as well as other local favorites.

Rosi’s is where you’ll hands down find the best tico food in Nosara, tico, meaning Costa Rican local fare. It’s the ultimate choice in Nosara for an unbeatable combination of authenticity, affordability, and deliciousness in Costa Rican cuisine.

For the most desirable meal and atmosphere in Nosara go to Coyol. This unique hotspot promises an unforgettable dining affair with its enchanting jungle cabin ambiance, offering stunning sunset views overlooking the rainforest and ocean. It's a bit of a drive form the center of Nosara but it's certainly worth the trek.

 

 

Sendero Kitchen

Located at the Sendero Hotel, Sendero Kitchen promises a delicious meal worth raving about.

Sendero Kitchen offers both a casual and fine dining experience with a creative menu featuring some of the freshest local ingredients. 

They also have a coffee truck open in the mornings.

 

Rancho Tico

Another great spot for local Costa Rican fare is Rancho Tico. This non-descript local shack serves up solid Costa Rican fare in Nosara town. It’s a great place to stop by for some casado, grilled fish or just a beer on the way through.

 

 

El Manglar Restaurant

El Manglar is the restaurant located inside Olas Verdes Boutique Hotel. It’s right by Playa Guiones just a couple minutes walk. El Manglar features a wide selection of local classics and international dishes that have become favorites with locals and travelers throughout the years.

10Pies is the ideal spot to hang out post-surf and fill up on a delicious range of cocktails and craft beers, Mexican classics like quesadillas and tacos as well as a variety of bowls and poke bowls. 

 

El Local

North Guiones

In El Local they do honor to their name. Everything in their menu is produced locally and their beers too. They have some of the best craft Costa Rican beers. The menu includes steak, ceviche, flatbread pizzas, grass-fed burgers and many vegetarian options too. 

 

Lagarta Lodge

Boca de Nosara

If you’re in Nosara you absolutely need to visit Lagarta Lodge for sunset. The view is simply breathtaking and you can see where the river, Boca de Nosara, and the beach meet.They have a partially open air lounge where you can sit and have a drink and an open air terrace at the restaurant.

For one of the most lively spots in the evening, make sure not to miss Howler’s Beach Lounge. This spot, located in North Playa Guiones serves tasty cocktails, local craft beer as well as brilliant fish dishes. They also have live music events throughout the week that draw in a crowd.

In North Guiones you’ll find Guiones Brewing Company, a brilliant spot for exceptional craft beer and a selection of artisanal pizzas to enjoy together.
